What customers say?

“ A very quiet place. There's more than enough space between tables and cross ventilation, a highly recommended place to eat during the pandemic. Good prices, well-cooked suckling pig and ribeye, but they need a little more flavor. The suckling pig needs a side dish (some potatoes, for example). The house wine is a bit limited for a weekend meal. The white beans with chorizo were delicious. Simply correct. ”

“ One of the best small restaurants we eat in our trip ”

“ We had a fantastic meal! We went on a recommendation and it was definitely the right choice. The service was friendly, the food was excellent, and the meat was spectacular. ”

“ We were there this weekend, and thanks to the reviews, we decided to eat here. It's a cozy and quiet place. The meat was very, very good, as were the white beans and the croquettes. The quality of the food and the excellent service from the waiters were outstanding. We will definitely be back. ”

“ We just had lunch there, a group of four, and both the quality of the food and Felipe's service were exceptional. For appetizers, we had scrambled eggs with black pudding and homemade ham croquettes. The main course was suckling pig roasted in a wood-fired oven. To finish, we had homemade flan and custard, whisky cake, and yogurt cake with blueberries. The restaurant is a typical Castilian inn, with three levels and tables and chairs that match the decor. On the positive side, we especially liked the roast and the touch of pine nuts in the scrambled eggs. As for anything negative, we didn't find anything noteworthy; a small detail like having some wet wipes to clean our hands after eating the roast would have been nice. The experience was good, and we recommend you try it if you're near Arévalo! ”

“ GREAT DEAL! It's been a while since I've had such well-cooked lamb, tender enough to melt in your mouth. A treat for the palate and the senses. The service was splendid. The dishes were beautifully served, both in quantity and quality. My congratulations to the cook as well. We'll be back. ”

“ We went with very high expectations, based on other recommendations, and were a little disappointed. The lamb chops were perfect, super tasty, but I thought the portion was quite small; they were just bite-sized, and I was still hungry afterward. The ribeye steak was very mediocre. It was lukewarm, very fatty, and had a very average flavor. We've had much better. As for the service, it was good. The waiter was friendly and polite. We were served quickly, but there were only two of us and one other person at a table. The place has its charm. ”

“ Excellent tourist menu. We chose Castilian soup and scrambled eggs with blood sausage for starters and agreed on the roast suckling pig for main course. Exquisite homemade desserts: flan and rice pudding. Or how simple, traditional cuisine triumphs. An impressive tourist menu for €26. A casual visit to a town committed to clean energy with a dual charging station for electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. ”
